The mission of the journal is to draw attention to the environmental contexts of educational processes and to focus on the analysis of conditions, which enable the satisfaction of the development needs of individuals and social groups in all phases of social age and various environments and life situations (study, work, leisure time, family, school, peer and social group, place of residence, social and cultural activities, etc.).

Contemporary discourse on these issues, due to the dynamics of changes in all spheres of existence and the need to build a valuable community, manifested, among others, by caring for the Other, his fate, and therefore for the quality of life and the condition of societies, is by all means desirable. Therefore, the creation of an international platform to present theoretical reflection, research results and practical solutions, within the field of interest of social pedagogy and expanding due to the emergence of new challenges and threats, is an important goal of the journal.
